Do not go into an interview expecting to be something other than an entry-level employee. Don’t expect a “management job” just because you’ve earned a Ph.D. Everyone goes into an organization beneath their expectations, but then they rise, sometimes very quickly, when they perform well. You shouldn’t express an interest in jobs
