The law to punish those who insult Gandhi is of no use especially wrt to foreigners. No foreign court will allow anybody to be extradited for insulting Gandhi. It may be used only against Indians.nnNobody can anyway be perfect. If Gandhi was adhering to unnatural philosophies like ahimsa, there has to be a dark side. Anyway homosexuality is not a crime as supreme court has said. To counterbalance the his philosophies, he would have to do some pervert things. Homosexuality was an extreme behavior at that time. Not only Gandhi, nuns, bishops, swamis etc. are also not celibate and chaste as the try to project. When you get close you will know.nnEven Gandhi’s Brahminism is suspect. Not every body accept he is Brahmin. Many people and their ancestors have bought that title.nnGandhi any way ws working for the benefit of Marwaris. He never criticized their suspect business practices. That could be the reason why India is as corrupt as it is now.
