Victoria Beckham 'working round the clock' as Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Charlize Theron request Oscars gowns

For a fashion designer to be handpicked by the world's top stars to be worn at one of the most important events of the year is an unmistakeable mark of success.

And for Victoria Beckham, that day has arrived.

The singer-turned-designer has reportedly been bombarded with requests from A-listers who want her to dress them for the Oscars.

And now Victoria is said to be working round the clock in the run up to the glamorous event, held later this month.

Actresses including Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz are among those reported to be keen to wear one of her designs on the red carpet for Tinseltown's biggest night.

Victoria is said to have been working 'day and night' to keep up with demand.

A source close to the star confirmed that Victoria's atelier had indeed received requests for Oscars gowns that they were working hard to fulfill - but was far too discreet to name names.
