One in Every Two Kids are Sexually Abused.More Often than Not Abusers are Family Members.
It was an eye opener-this Sunday's Satyamev Jayate. 53% of kids are sexually abused. We have to hear our kids -when they are saying something-about being uncomfortable, about not wanting to interact with certain individuals-instead of dismissing their concerns as useless rants , the duty of the parent is to listen. Kudos to Aamir Khan for addressing such delicate issues .
We, as parents often trust relatives and friends more than our little kids. Please trust your kids and their concerns , however childish it is .
