Anna ends his fast

It all ended in a photo frame moment. The presence of a large crowd in the agitation ground, thanks to the visit of Bollywood superstars earlier in the day, waving the Tricolour, Anna Hazare on the dais wearing a freshly-starched dhoti, kurta and topi and a Union Minister accompanied by interlocutors arriving with a letter from the Prime Minister made a perfect happy ending to a 12-day-long bitter squabble between the civil society activist and the Government of India.
At 9.10 pm, Hazare received the letter from Vilasrao Deshmukh, who read it out to the cheering crowd in the presence of interlocutor Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit, former Minister Vilas Muttemwar, civil society activist from Maharashtra Medha Patkar, Team Anna members Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit
