The public shaming video a dad did for disciplining his daughter led to the girl committing suicide. The original video was removed but a friend of the victim videotaped on her phone and put it on YouTube.

Isabel Laxamana, a 13-year-old girl in Tacoma, Washington committed suicide by jumping off a highway overpass last Friday.

In the video the father is punishing the daughter by cutting off her hair.

“The consequences of getting messed up, man, you lost all that beautiful hair,” a male voice can be heard saying from behind the camera. The video pans to the ground, where long locks of black hair are scattered on the ground. “Was it worth it?”

“No,” she responds quietly.

“How many times did I warn you?” he asks.

“A lot,” she replies, barely audibly.
