Only Vegan Village in the World

When I first saw the video on Nas Daily about this vegan village in Israel, I was intrigued. It is so difficult to follow any specific diet, but if the whole village is adhering to a diet, it’s a chosen lifestyle.

The Black Hebrews that reside in this Dimona village once were not even allowed to enter Israel, but today they are accepted and their chosen vegan lifestyle has attracted the world’s attention. This Negev desert area village houses about five-thousand residents, most of them had entered the country illegally, but are slowly being recognized as important citizens of Israel. Very few of them are citizens of Israel, most of them are permanent residents with no right to vote.

They exercise three times a week, eat healthy, basically lead an ideal life in terms of taking care of the body. They only eat raw vegan food, don’t consume any dairy and are seemingly very healthy. And it’s just not only vegan, but they also eat salt only every other day and give up all sugar for a total of four weeks in a year.

From the Bible – Genesis 1:29, reads: “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” This scripture is the basis of their chosen vegan lifestyle.

Fun Fact: Dimona village is also the mini India of Israel because it has the largest number of Indians in Israel, most of the Indians are from the Maharashtra region.
