The Super-Sensitive Indian : protests against Indian ambassador patted down at Airport

The Ministry of External Affairs will shoot a very strong mail to the US State Department to protest the manner in which Indian ambassador to the US Meera Shankar was pulled out of an airport security line and patted down by an American security agent.

This, despite the Americans being told of her status and the fact that she enjoys complete diplomatic immunity.

    Standing in line like all of us seems to be beneath their dignity. The problem is if you don’t pat ambassadors then what do you do next time Pakistani or Iranian guy gets something.
